On behalf of the 2019 Organizing Committee of Wireless and Optical Communications Conference (WOCC), we welcome you to the 28th WOCC in Beijing on May 9th-10th 2019, the conference organized by University of Science and Technology Beijing and co-organized by the State Key Lab of Rail Traffic Control & Safety in Beijing Jiaotong University.

The main theme of WOCC 2019 is “Exploring the Intelligent Communication Networks and Cyber World", highlighting the innovations, as well as, evolutions of wireless communications and optical transmission systems for challenging applications in the 5G and future 6G, which may integrate the Cyber World, Digital World, Artificial Intelligence systems and even biological systems. Applications providing intelligent experience for human society can be better achieved through THz spectrum, broader bandwidth, more ubiquitous network architecture and more efficient computing with strict reliability and delay requirements.

In the past two decades, WOCC has become one of the major conferences for telecommunications and networking professionals both in the U.S. and in the Asia-Pacific region, as well as, other regions of the world, presenting the latest innovations, discussing the emerging techniques, exchanging research ideas, and exploring frontier issues. WOCC 2019 will also feature high-quality plenary speeches, as well as, invited keynotes from prominent research and industry leaders.
